A COUPLE’S EXPERIENCE

So I knew before we even started that I would be obsessed with this shoot. Amanda was one of my ambassadors in 2020, and has been a total hype woman for my brand. She is now known as Thee Amanda 2.0 of Pure Poise, and as my Badass Assistant. I’ve shot her a few times now, but this was my first time meeting her hubby and I swear, he vibed right off of her and was a total hunk in lust with his wife.

Q: What brought you to book a boudoir experience?

M: My wife talked me into this.

A: I’ve been in front of Amanda’s lense a couple times before. I’ve been slowly chipping away at my hubby’s will of steel to get him to do a couples session with me. Finally, after what felt like forever, he agreed.

M: I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it, but did for my wife. I was a little anxious and nervous. That quickly eased and I felt comfortable within a short time during the shoot.

A: I knew what I was in for, so I was super excited for Amanda to work her magic.

Q: Describe your experience to your best friend. Give us the hype! 

M: I got to take fun photos with my wife. I’d recommend the experience. 

A: Amanda’s studio is a safe space filled with empowerment and positivity. Amanda will make you work, but she’ll show you how it’s done, and you’ll walk out of the studio more badassy than when you walked in.

Q: How did seeing your final images at viewing make you feel?

M: I felt awkward looking at my few solo photos but they were done really well and my wife really enjoyed them. The others of us I enjoyed a lot.

A: Ummm… all sorts of ways *if ya know what I mean* a steamy couples session was such an amazing date-day idea and boy, oh boy will the images be fun to look back on when we’re 80 and wrinkly.

Q: Has your experience impacted your personal life, self esteem, confidence, relationships, etc. in a way you’d like to share?

M: Was a nice confidence booster and it made my wife happy, which is always a good thing. 

A: My hubby and I are closer now having shared the experience together. As always, I walked out of the studio filled to the brim with confidence and a renewed sense of self.

Q: Anything you’d like to add in your blog feature?!

M: Dudes don’t be scared. It’ll be okay. You may even have fun. Your ladies will thank you.

A: Stop with your excuses – if you want to book a boudoir session, now is the time to do it. You are perfect the way you are in the body you’re inhabiting right this moment. No need to lose weight, no need to grow your hair out, no need for any of that nonsense. You deserve this!
