Queen Stacy’s Half Experience

I only offer studio boudoir half sessions once a year, because they are super hard for me. I love getting lost in creating, getting us both a solid workout, and spending enough time with you to where you are really comfortable with stripping, posing and ME. The emotion and badassery is harder to pull out in HALF THE TIME. But I’ve been happy with this year’s half sessions booked from Black Friday! Check out this Queen who celebrated her 50th doing something super vulnerable and empowering! See what she thought below, along with half of her images that she chose to share. 😀

Forever thankful for your trust, Amanda

Much love and excitement,
Amanda Collette

“I saw confidence and self respect. I saw above all… independence and sensuality. I saw another part of myself that I don’t want to lose.”

Q: What brought you to book a boudoir experience?

A: Laying in my bed the morning of black Friday I saw the special being offered. I had always been interested but afraid of doing this. My insecurities always got the best of me. I bought and paid for the session before I could second guess myself.

Q: How did you feel leading up to, and during your experience?

A: I wanted to lose weight before my shoot. That didn’t happen, it was the holiday season… who loses weight over the holidays? I was really nervous, my insecurities were through the roof.

Q: Describe your experience to your best friend. Give us the hype!

A: My daughter came with me as my driver (I had a morning with a few mimosas for breakfast to calm my nerves). She was also my moral support. Once there I had my hair and make up done by Ashley. I was being treated like a queen. Very comfortable, great conversation. My insecurities were still giving me an issue. Amanda finished with the previous client and sat down with us while my transformation was happening. Amanda was the most uplifting and supportive person. She had so many ideas. Amanda helped me get through the nerves and just enjoy myself.

Q: How did seeing your final images at viewing make you feel?

A: I am 50 years old and this was so completely out of my comfort zone. Viewing these images of myself was an eye opening experience. I saw a whole new person in those photos. I saw confidence and self respect. I saw above all… independence and sensuality. I saw another part of myself that I don’t want to lose.

Q: Anything you’d like to add in your blog feature?!

A: Don’t let how you see yourself in the mirror stop you. Schedule a session, you’ll be looking at someone else in the mirror when you’re finished. You’ll feel the liberation.
